Method Statements and Risk Assessment

The purpose of method statements is to describe the safety precautions to put in place to control risks identified in the risk assessment. They detail the equipment to use during projects, PPEs, and the control equipment required to keep workers and site visitors safe while an ongoing task.

When working at construction job sites, there are associated risks and hazards unique to the job. As an employer, you have the responsibility to ensure you comply with the necessary and related regulations and to ensure all checks and balances are in place in order to minimize these risks.
